What I help with

AI tools can save a small business real time, but it is hard to know where to start, which tool to pay for, and what happens to your data. I help you pick a tool that fits the job and set it up properly, so it is useful from day one.

• Setting up AI tools. Tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot or Google Gemini, with business accounts where that makes sense.
• Privacy settings. Checking what each tool keeps, and turning off settings that share your data where the tool allows it.
• A chat assistant for your website. An AI assistant that answers common questions and passes real enquiries to you. The chat on this site works this way.
• Automating repeat tasks. For example sorting email, filling documents from a form, or drafting replies for you to check and send.

Start with one task

I start with one job that takes up your time every week. If AI can do it well, we set it up and you see the result straight away. If it cannot do it well yet, I tell you so, and you do not pay for a tool you will not use.

A person stays in charge

AI tools can make mistakes. I set things up so that a person checks anything important before it goes to a customer, such as a quote, an invoice or a reply to a complaint. I also explain what not to paste into a free tool, such as customer details or passwords.

Short handover

When it is set up, I show you how to use it and what to do if it stops working. It is short and practical, on your own computer and your own accounts, not a course.
